Join The Great Trossachs Forest Partnership and Plantlife Scotland for a free workshop led by Dr Oliver Moore, Plantlife Scotland’s Lichen and Bryophyte Specialist.
This is a unique opportunity to learn about what makes Scotland’s rainforest so special. The workshop will cover:
How to identify rainforest indicator lichen and moss species
Insights into their ecology and conservation needs
Ways you can get involved in protecting Scotland’s rainforest
Following the workshop, there will also be opportunities to volunteer in future moss and lichen monitoring projects.
What to bring:
Packed lunch and drink
Sturdy footwear with good ankle support
Weather-appropriate clothing (this is Scotland’s rainforest after all!)
Important: Distances will be short, but the ground may be uneven. Parking charges may apply. Please do not bring dogs to this workshop.
